Welcome to the Viterbo V-Hawk Volleyball Summer Camps!

Camp Registration

 

  • This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.
  • Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 
  • To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.
  • V-HAWK VALUE PACK.  Players will benefit from attending multiple
    camps.  Players can attend two camps for a $20 discount and three or more camps for
    a $35 discount.

 


Our Facilities

 

 

The camps have the capability of using both the Varsity Athletics Center, which is the home of all V-Hawk home games, and the Mathy Center. The Mathy Center is a multimillion dollar facility with three volleyball courts.

 


Middle School Skills Camp #1

 

 

These camps are presented in a teaching setting to focus on all the skills of volleyball. During certain sessions, players will be divided up by position to work on specific position skills (outside hitter, middle hitter, setter, etc.). We also will put them into teams according to age and skill level and work on playing in a team format as well as practicing all the various skill sets included in the game of volleyball. The All Skills Camps are great for beginners, as well as challenging to more experienced 

 

GRADES: 5th - 8th

DATES:  July 8th-July10th

TIME:  9:00am-3:00pm

COST:  $195.00 per Camper (lunch provided)

MAX: There will be a maximum of 100 campers

 

 

Middle School Skills Camp #2

 

 

These camps are presented in a teaching setting to focus on all the skills of volleyball. MS Serving Camp

 

This camp is designed to introduce athletes of all ages and skillsets to the various approaches of serving.  We will focus on float serves, jump float serves, spot serving and top spin serves.

 

GRADES: 5th - 8th

DATES:  July 10th

TIME:  4:30pm-6:30pm

COST:  $75.00 per Camper


HS Serving Camp

 

This camp is designed to introduce athletes of all ages and skillsets to the various approaches of serving.  We will focus on float serves, jump float serves, spot serving and top spin serves.

 

GRADES: 9th - 12th

DATES:  July 10th

TIME:  6:30pm-8:30pm

COST:  $75.00 per Camper


High School Specialty Camp

 

 

This is a position camp that will take your game to the next level. Campers will break up into their positions and coaches will teach the basic and complex techniques of the positions, along with teaching the mental aspect of the game. Setters and hitters from the same school can be paired, giving them the opportunity to work and learn together. Each position will receive many ball touches, which will improve their game. Lunch will be provided to all campers and breakfast will be provided to overnight campers.

 

GRADES: 8th - 12th

DATES:  July 11th-12th

TIME:  July 11th, 6pm-8:00pm.   July 12th, 9am-11:30am, 12:30pm-2pm

COMMUTER COST: $150 per Camper (lunch provided)

OVERNIGHT COST: $195 per Camper (breakfast & lunch provided)

 


First Contact Camp

Serving and passing are crucial and tow of the most important skills today in volleyball.  We will dedicate time to serving, as well as focusing on your first contact both on receiving serve and on defense.  This camp can be useful for all positions.  Techniques covered include proper body positioning, movement patterns, eye sequencing, platform and overhand digging, serve-receive passing, emergency defensive moves, ball control, jump and standing float serving.

 

GRADES:  5th - 12th

DATES:  July 18th

TIME:  July 18th - 9:00am - 3:00pm (Lunch Provided)

COST: $105 per Camper 

 


Little Spiker’s Camp

 

This camp is designed to give young girls their first exposure to the basic skills and strategies of the game of volleyball. We will focus on learning and training the core skills of volleyball -- serving, passing, setting, and hitting.  We will focus on these skills each day and incorporate volleyball games to help ingrain the skills learned.  Each day the camp will focus on fundamentals with fun and enthusiastic coaching.  

 

GRADES: 2nd - 5th

DATES:  July 15th-17th

TIME:  9am-11:30am

COST:  $105.00 per Camper

 


College Prospect Camp

 

 

This camp is designed for experienced athletes who aspire to play collegiate volleyball. We will focus on each player individually to make them better in their position along with teaching them to improve in all their skills. Campers will be taught the fundamental skills of the sport and have an opportunity to practice and review those skills through the duration of camp. Each camper will get a personalized evaluation from one of our college or high school head coaches. This will have feedback on what the athlete needs to do to continue to improve with tactical and technical instruction. If you want to take your game to the next level, this camp is just right for you. Lunch will be provided to all campers and breakfast will be provided to overnight campers.

 

GRADES: 9th - 12th

DATES:  July 18th-19th

TIME:  July 18th, 6:00pm-8:00pm.  July 19th, 9:00am-11:30am, 12:30pm-2pm.

COMMUTER COST:  $165 per Camper (Lunch Provided)

OVERNIGHT COST:  $195 per Camper (Breakfast & Lunch Provided)

 


Setting & Defense Camp

 

This camp teaches the skills and tactics of being a great setter and backcourt player. During this camp there will be a focus on footwork, hand positioning,  and strategies will be emphasized. This includes transitioning and decision-making skills, along with reading hitters and growing backcourt volleyball IQ!

 

GRADES: 6th - 12th

DATES:  July 11th

TIME:   9:00am-3:00pm

COST: $105 (lunch provided)

 


Middle School Overnight Camp

 

The V-Hawk Overnight All Skills Camp is one of a kind. This camp focuses on individual skills development, team player development, increasing the players volleyball IQ, and character development for players of all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) and positions. The fundamental skills and techniques of volleyball will be taught through a variety of drills and competitions. We will also integrate character building in each session, which will touch on the core values of Viterbo volleyball, which include integrity, sportsmanship, work ethic, and communication. Athletes will be separated based on age, grade, and skill level. Meals will be provided.

 

GRADES: 5th - 8th

DATES:  July 21st - 23rd

TIME:  July 21st, 6:00pm-8:00pm.   July 22nd, 9:00am-11:30am, 1:00pm-4pm, 6:00pm-8:00pm. July 23rd, 9:00am-11:00am.

COMMUTER COST: $255 per Camper (Lunch Provided)

OVERNIGHT COST: $305 per Camper (Breakfast & Lunch Provided)
